This policy applies to every hosting account, server and domain name you buy from Bit Technology. It protects you, other customers and our network.
You must not use our services to
- host, send or link to illegal content, or content that exploits children;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk email, or run open mail relays;
- host phishing pages, malware, botnets, command-and-control servers or exploit kits;
- attack, scan or probe other systems, or run denial-of-service tools;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other rights of others;
- mine cryptocurrency on shared hosting, or run proxies, VPNs or open DNS resolvers that are abused;
- use more than a fair share of shared resources (CPU, memory, disk I/O, processes) so that other customers are affected;
- resell or store large amounts of backup or file-sharing data on plans not meant for it.
Your responsibilities
Keep your software and passwords secure. If your site or server is compromised and starts to cause harm, we may suspend it until it is cleaned. You are responsible for the content of your sites and for the actions of anyone you give access to.
What we do when the policy is broken
We may warn you, limit resources, suspend or terminate the service, remove content and report illegal activity to the authorities. For urgent threats we may act without notice. We will tell you what happened as soon as we can.
Reporting abuse
To report abuse by one of our customers, write to support@bit.af with the details and evidence.
