1. Who we are
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Bit Technology ("we", "us"). By creating an account, placing an order or using our services you agree to these Terms.
2. Our services
We sell web hosting, domain name registration and virtual private servers. Each service has a description, resources and price on our website. We may change the description of a plan for future orders at any time.
3. Your account
You must give accurate contact details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your password and two-factor authentication safe. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
4. Orders, prices and payment
- All prices are in US dollars (USD) and are shown before any taxes that apply to you.
- An order is accepted when we receive payment. Services are set up automatically after payment; this normally takes a few minutes but can take longer.
- Services renew for the billing period you chose. We send an invoice before the due date. A service is renewed only after the invoice is paid.
- If an invoice is not paid on time we may suspend the service, and later terminate it. Terminating a service deletes its data.
- Domain names are registered through a third-party registry. Registration and renewal prices can change; the price shown at checkout applies to your order.
5. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate a service that breaks it, without refund where the breach is serious.
6. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
7. Backups and your data
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of your websites and data. Where we offer backups they are provided as a convenience and are not a guarantee.
8. Availability
We work hard to keep services running but we do not promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and will try to give notice of planned work that affects you.
9. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending the agreement
You can cancel a service at any time from your account. We can end or suspend your services if you break these Terms or if the law requires it.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will tell you about important changes by email or in your account. If you keep using the services after a change takes effect, you accept the new Terms.
